With a 30-year experience organizing wine tasting competitions, Didier Martin, the Founder, made a simple observation: the economical impact of women in the wine industry. This inspired him the novel idea of the Feminalise Competition in 2007 which goes global in 2015.
Vintages accepted into the Competition are from 2021 and earlier, originating from all vineyards in the world. Each wine/spirit must conform to the Community regulations in European Union and the regulations in force in the country of origin.
As a result of the New French Wine Competition Regulations, the Féminalise World Wine Competition has been officially registered on the list of Official Competitions for which the medals are allowed to be affixed on the labeling of wines (BOCCRF of September 13th, 2013).

The Feminalise tasters are all experts and professionals working in the wine industry or seasoned oenophiles. They are all selected from an important number of applications from around the world.
All wines are blind-tasted. Each sample is tasted by 3 women seated at tables placed apart from each other, with no influence being possible between each other. This unique organization generates conclusive results.
Each year, the Feminalise medals, Gold, Silver or Bonze reward the best wines. All of our medals are micro-engraved to avoid copies.
